SportsPro NEW ERA is a year-round programme designed to recognise, support and advocate for a new era of gender equality and representation within the international sports industry. We want to bring new ideas, underappreciated thinkers and future leaders to the forefront and elevate their profiles. We will provide a global platform and ongoing community support, powered by a diverse Steering Group of inspirational and accomplished women with unrivalled experience. Despite progress being made, there is still a small pool of regular female contributors to the global b2b sports industry conversation. We intend to widen and deepen this from within. Twelve successful female applicants will benefit from year-round editorial, event, and networking opportunities, as well as dedicated coaching time with every member of the Steering Group. SportsPro’s unique network of influence affords us the opportunity and responsibility to help shape the future landscape of the sports industry and empower the women who will steer it. This includes overseeing commercial broadcast deals, live production and social and digital media. She has accrued a wealth of experience in the fields of sports media, OTT, business development, strategy and production over the years both in Europe and Asia. Her previous roles include Vice President, Media at Football Marketing Asia (FMA), Business Development Director, APAC at Endeavor Streaming plus commercial roles at StarHub, Setanta Africa, Fox Sports and BBC Worldwide. She has studied in the Czech Republic ( and is a fluent Czech speaker ) and lived in her native France before relocating to the UK where she has been based for most of her professional life. Sarah was VP of Marketing, Expansion at DAZN after her role as Global Director of Communications and PR within the business. Prior to this, Sarah held senior roles within brands such as telecoms business, Three, as Head of PR and Social, and Head of Employer Brand.
